In a press release, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa (NCS), Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, has notified that, in view of the damage of National highway NH 202 due to the washing away of culvert at Km 58.00 of NH202 between Longkhim and Mangaki, the road will be closed for restoration till further orders.

1) Travellers from Tuensang to Kohima are hereby advised to take the Tuensang-Yangli-Zunheboto-Kohima route.

2) Travelers to Mokokchung are advised to take the Tuensang-Yangli-Suruhoto-Longsa route or Tuensang-Longleng-Changtongya-Mokokchung route and vice versa.

The movement of heavy vehicles shall remain restricted along the Tuensang-Longleng road.
