The Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong (TTBL) celebrated its Platinum jubilee on Friday held under the theme “Slavery to sonship” at the TTBL, Tuensang. The 75th years Jubilee Monolith was unveiled by Rev.Achu Chang, Executive Secretary CBLT.
P.Bashangmongba Chang, Minister PWD, Housing and Mechanical and delegates graced the event. Bashang expressed his warm greetings and congratulated the elders and dedicated leaders for working sincerely, and contributing towards the upliftment of the church.
In his speech, Chang stated, “In today’s generation the world has become so competitive among the educators, when we look at the life of successful people, it is all because of their determination,sincere, dedication and hardwork.”
The Minister urged the young generation to work hard in the present so that they do not have to face serious consequences in the coming future. He encouraged the youths to work sincerely towards shaping their future and pave the way for future growth. “Today’s youth is the hope and leaders for tomorrow as they are the face of society,” added Chang.

Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC Tuensang, in a brief speech expressed gratitude to witness the jubilee, and highlighted how the church was established during the headhunting days and war among the people. “When there was no peace, the people of God come together to establish the church to worship God in 1948,” said Tungoe.
He urged all the congregations to forgive one another among the family and continue to live in unity and peace as they celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
A sermon was delivered by Rev Achu chang, Executive Secretary CBLT under the theme “Slavery to sonship” from Galatia 4:7.Earlier, the programme was chaired by O.Akum, Vice Principal, GHSS Shamator and Bendangla, Youth Pastor, recited the word of God. The prayer was invoked by Rev.Chongshen, Pastor Khudei Baptist Lashong, while the TTBL choir and Yimkhiung Baptist Church Tuensang presented special numbers. The benediction was pronounced by L.Ongmang, Pastor, Yungkuk Baptist Lashong.
