The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tuli, Relise Sangtam, NCS, has issued an Advisory to avoid buying and consumption of pork from Assam in view of the confirmed case of African Swine Fever Disease (ASF) in neighbouring Sivasagar District of Assam.

The ADC has also urged the general public to report any death of pigs within Tuli Sub-Division, Mokokchung district, to the Veterinary Department.
