Isabella Tschan, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP), inaugurated the 3rd edition of ‘SDG One Stop Destination’ at Kisama on the inaugural day of the Hornbill Festival on 1st December 2023. The pavilion is being organised by the Sustainable Development Goal Coordination Centre (SDGCC), under the Department of Planning & Transformation, Government of Nagaland.
Assistant Development Commissioner, Heiwading thanked Principal Secretary (Planning) & Development Commissioner, R. Ramakrishnan for his continued support, and the dedicated SDGCC team led by Nayantara Sasikumar, Officer on Special Duty (Planning) and SDG State Nodal Officer for driving the whole process of this initiative, DIPR said in a report. He also thanked the dedicated UNDP team members for all the technical support and expressed gratitude to all the departments that have been contributing to all SDG initiatives.

Heiwading mentioned that through the ‘SDG One Stop Destination’, SDGCC aims to engage and enable citizens on SDGs and encourage sustainable action by involving citizens in interactive drivers such as games, quizzes, and various fun and interactive activities while reiterating the core of Nagaland for SDGs and how they link with Naga culture and heritage through transformative results at scale by 2030.
