The Union Home Ministry has decided to create five new districts in the Union Territory of Ladakh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced today in a post on X platform.
These new districts are Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang, Shah informed.
He also stated that the creation of these five new districts in Ladakh “will take the benefits meant for the people to their doorsteps by bolstering governance in every nook and cranny.”
The Modi government is committed to creating abundant opportunities for the people of Ladakh, the Union Home Minister added.
