Union Minister Flags off Mobile ATM Van funded by NABARD

Kohima: NABARD is sanctioning a grant of Rs 15 lakhs to the Nagaland Rural Bank for deployment of a Mobile ATM bank to Mokokchung district

Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman flagged off the Mobile ATM Van of Nagaland Rural Bank funded by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) under Financial Inclusion Fund, FIF, today here at Cultural Hall, Kohima. The flag off was done in the presence of Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, DY Chief Minister Y Patton and a host ministers, advisors and officials. This was followed by a visit to the stalls.

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) fosters rural financial inclusion through various supply and demand side interventions with a view to spread financial enhance digital literacy and offering door step banking services to the rural people in remote locations.
