The Ura Academy (UA) is scheduled to organise the 55th Annual Tenyidie Seminar from May 28 to 30 under the theme “Dieu U Siepetiekeshü (Reminiscent Language)” at Ura Academy Hall, Mission Compound, Kohima.
A’press release issued by the organisers informed that a “Seminar on Mother Tongue/Local Dialects of Tenyimia Communities” will be held at 1 PM.
The programme will be presided over by Vimedo Keyho, Secretary, Tenyidie Education Division, Ura Academy, and the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Zavise Rume, Chairman, Tenyidie Education Division, Ura Academy, while Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President, Ura Academy, will exhort the event. N. Haisoi Ndang, Chairman, Zeme Literature Committee, will also address the gathering, followed by a discussion with Tenyimia tribes/sub-tribes literature boards.
The inaugural session will take place later at 4 PM and will be presided over by Daso Paphino, Vice President, Ura Academy. The Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO) will be the Guest of Honour. Rev. Khrotso Mero, Ura Academy Chatha (Board of Directors), will also exhort the event.
On May 29, the Tenyidie Kephrünuoko Krotho (TKK) conclave will be held. Dr. Keduolhoulie Belho, Associate Professor, Kohima College, will be the speaker of the event, while exhortation will be delivered by Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President, Ura Academy.
On the occasion, Dr. Metuo Liezietsu, Controller of Examination, Ura Academy, will confer the Ura Academy Awards, and the programme will be presided over by Dzüzienuo Yhome, President, TKK.
Later in the afternoon, competitions will be held in Drama, Solo, Story Writing, Essay Writing, and Poetry Writing among high school and higher secondary school students.

On May 30, in the morning hours, the Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo seminar will be held, which will be addressed by Asano Sekhose, Retired Chairperson, NBSE, Govt. of Nagaland, and Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA, Govt. of Nagaland. The event will be presided over by Mhasivilie Zhale.
This will be followed by a “Discussion on the usage of the Tenyidie language in educational institutions”. The panel will include Dr. Petekhrienuo Sorhie, Associate Professor, Dept. of Tenyidie, NU; Vizomenuo Merlyn Yhome, Assistant Professor, KSC Jotsoma; Keneingunuo Solo, Assistant Teacher, Mezhür Hr. Sec. School, Kohima; Keneilhoulie Pienyü, Assistant Teacher, Rüzhükhrie Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Kohima; and Dzüvisato Savino, Assistant Teacher, G. Rio School, Kohima. The session will be moderated by Dr. Rü-ünguso Kuotsu, President, Ura Academy Rüpfhünuo Krotho, and will be summed up by Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Joint Secretary, Ura Academy.
Accordingly, later in the evening, at the valedictory function, the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) and the Angami Public Organization (APO) will be the Guests of Honour and will exhort the event. Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President, Ura Academy, will be the speaker.
Furthermore, the organisers have requested Tenyidie well-wishers, elders, teachers, church leaders, student bodies, and organisations to be a part of the programme.
