The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) met the Principal Director of School Education, Government of Nagaland, in Kohima to discuss key challenges faced by schools within its jurisdiction.
During the discussion, the USSC raised concern over the acute shortage of classrooms at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Kiphire, where existing facilities are insufficient to accommodate all students.
In response, the Principal Director assured his full support and said he would personally take up the matter under Samagra Shiksha.
The USSC also highlighted the absence of an education lecturer at GHSS Lonkhim. The Principal Director assured that the issue would be addressed during the upcoming rationalization of teachers, which would be carried out soon.
