Kiphire District launched Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on 7th December 2023 at Kiphire village, DIPR informed.

Addressing during the launching program, Block Nodal Officer, Kiphire, T Sulanthung, SDO (C), Kiphire said that the main purpose of the program is to raise awareness through outreach activities to achieve the saturation of the schemes. The main focus of the campaign is about the benefits of various central sponsored schemes and also to reach out to the deserving beneficiaries who are eligible under the various schemes.

He also said that this campaign will be covering all the villages under Kiphire District and urged all the public to avail the schemes and those who are yet to get benefitted to participate and take this opportunity by availing the various schemes provided.

Later, recorded message of Prime Minister and Sankalp (pledge) video of Viksit Bharat and demonstration of various central schemes were displayed during the campaign.

During the campaign on-spot services were also provided by various line departments agencies like PM Ujjwal registration, PMMVY registration, TB screening, Health camp, Bharat volunteers registration and Ayushman Bharat registration.

Women cultural team from National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) also presented a special folk song followed by felicitation to women achievers.

The program was chaired by SDO (C) Kiphire, Nodal officer T Sulanthung.
