The Shena New, village gate was inaugurated on 6th August, 2022 by Er. Kahuli Sema Engineer-In-Chief PWD (R&B). Viku Achumi IPS, Hikali Achumi Miss Sumi, Nivi Asst. Professor and others were also present during the inaugural function.
Er. Kahuli Sema Engineer-in-Chief PWD (R&B), while speaking at the inauguration programme asserted that having inaugurated the village gate, she hopes every person to pass through the gate will be blessed.
She reminded that the Shena village is second to none in many spheres of life and further hopes they would remain humble and faithful to God.
Sema, speaking during the event also, said that the village gate is central to the village identity and will make people aware of where they are crossing and the significance of the gate.
The village gate construction officials, informed that the village gate was built with contributions solely from Shena New village members and construction was completed in two months.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Hovishe Achumi, village gate construction, cultural presentations was done by Shena New village women folks, welcome address delivered by Hukavi Sumi Sr. Advocate, Vote of thanks proposed by Inakha Achumi Gb Shena New village and concluded with a benediction invoked by Youth p
