The Wokha District Chamber of Commerce & Industry had on 10th February 2024 held a conclave with the Wokha based Lotha tribal bodies and the Joint Action Committee on NH 2 two lane construction, Wokha Village, on the indefinite total bandh called by the apex bodies, Vungathung Murry, President, WDCC&I informed.

In the meeting, an understanding was reached as per which, WDCC&I has directed the following protocols –

1. All the Business Community are directed to open their respective Business establishment from 13/02/2024 on alternate days i.e. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm.

2. All Vehicles carrying essential commodities are hereby directed to obtain Vehicle Permit/pass from the Office of the WDCC&I.
