Kivika Achumi, winner of first Sümi Love Song competition lauched an official Music video of his song ‘Daisy’ on Saturday with Vikali A. Zhimomi, president of NDPP central women organization as the special guest.

Zhimomi, in her address, called upon the people present to keep supporting artists and encouraged the singer to come up with original songs.

Kivika Achumi’s new song is based on a true love story of a young soldier who falls in love with his senior officer’s daughter, Daisy. But uncertainty shrouds the story when Daisy’s father is transferred to another place and the girl has to leave her lover. The soldier through this song expresses his heartfelt grief and how much he longed for his lover to be with him and therefore asks her not to leave.

The music video features Linovi P. Kiba, Miss Sumi 1st runner up, Atunali Chophi Miss Niuland and Limeka Aye.

Earlier the program was chaired by Niloli Wotsa, Miss Sumi 2nd Runner up, greetings was delivered by Ghuvika Yepthomi, President, Eastern Sumi Students’ Union, and invocation was pronounced by Nikato Achumi, Youth Pastor, UMC.
