Workshop for ‘Dissemination of Comprehensive UIP Review Development of Immunization Coverage Improvement Plan’ was held on 3rd May 2023 at De-Oriental Hotel Kohima, informed DIPR.
This workshop was held with vision to protect every child with vaccine preventable disease through achieving 95% full immunization coverage. ITSU- Ministry of Health and family welfare conducted comprehensive review of Universal Immunization Coverage in the State from 11th – 18th June 2022 and in continuation this workshop in 2023 was held with the cited objective.

The resource persons led by Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, Dr. Sonu Gupta, Dr. Swadesh Prasad, Paras Jain, Dr. Sandeep Rathod, Dr. Mona Chopra, Ashok Sharma, Dr. Rajashree Roy, Mahesh Mishra and Satish Kumar covered various topics on program implementation. AEFI & VPD Surveillance, Logistics and Supply chain, data recording and reporting, communication, urban immunization. The workshop concluded with a group work presentation.
