A two-day workshop on ‘Basic Disaster Management and Disaster Data’ is currently underway organized by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Home Department in collaboration with Directorate of Economics & Statistics.

During a brief opening ceremony, the welcome address was delivered  by Joniibemo Odyuo, Assistant Manager, NSDMA, and the key note address was presented by Neidilhou Keditsu, Director, Economics & Statistics. Charles N. Kikon, Addl. Director Economics & Statistics extended  the vote of thanks.

The topics to be covered during the two-day workshop includes Guidelines on Disaster Data Collection, Gender Statistics in Disaster Management, Disaster Situation Report etc, informed a press release by the NSDMA.
