‘You Got the Voice Nagaland Season 2’ organiser apologises for unpaid prize money to winners

Kohima: Winners of “You Got the Voice Nagaland,” Season 2 disclose unethical practices of Meraki Entertainment as prize money, certification and privileges remain unfulfilled

Thritong Sangtam, the President of Meraki Entertainment Nagaland, the organiser of ‘You Got the Voice Nagaland Season 2’ has issued a formal apology over the non-payment of prize money to the winners of the event.

Taking responsibility for the “setbacks and mismanagement”, Sangtam stated that the event which is aimed at providing a platform for the talented youth of Nagaland suffered financial loss due to which the promised payments could not be fulfilled.

Meraki Entertainment Nagaland had promised cash prize of ₹ 50,000 and also three months professional course Clefnote Music Academy, free Cover/Orginal Song recording for winners and professional Music video for both the winners.

Earlier, the winners of the ‘You Got the Voice Nagaland Season 2’, Arola Jinger (Winner) and Susalho Ringa (First Runner Up) has issued a public statement claiming that they had not received the prizes promised by the organisers for winning the the competition held on 22nd June 2024.

The winners also alleged that Thritong Sangtam was avoiding their queries regarding the same and urged Meraki Entertainment Nagaland to rectify the situation promptly and honour its commitments.
