LCYO will be locking horns against defending Champions Highlanders in the final match of the 28th Winter Cricket Challenge. The final match will be held on January 14 at the Public Ground, Wokha

The second semi final was played between Phyolumo XI and Highlanders. Highlanders won the toss and opted to bat first and set a target of 150 runs in 20 overs losing 2 wickets. Hiketo the opening batsman scored 61 runs, alongside the first down batsman Jitu who was unbeaten for 72 runs.

While chasing the target, Phyolumo XI lost the match by 38 runs in 18.2 overs losing all the wickets. Only 4 batsman reached the double figure mark. Renjamo 23, Mhachamo 22, Shanben 10 and Nayan 17. Jitu of Highlanders was adjudged the man of the match for his 72 runs knock.
