6-day Drone Assembly & Programming Workshop underway at Nagaland University

A 6-day “Drone Assembly and Programming Training Workshop” is underway from March 16to 21 at the School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University (SET, NU), Kohima Campus, Meriema. The workshop has been organized by the Training and Placement Cell, SET-NU, in collaboration with Rotorize Aviation Pvt. Ltd. In the workshop, 3 batches of students are being trained in drone technology, assembly, and programming.

A flight simulator tool will be used to demonstrate drone operations and flight simulation. Students are also getting hands-on experience on how to operate real drones, assemble them using different parts, and program them for specific tasks.

Shanchamo Yanthan, Incharge of the Placement Cell, School of Engineering, Nagaland University, highlighted the importance of such training workshops where students can learn valuable practical skills from industry professionals. He also expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kohima Campus, and the Dean, School of Engineering, for their constant support in organizing such events for the benefit of the student community.
