Dust finally settled at Rempukong, Ungma, Mokokchung on 5 November after an intense competition between thrill seeking motorsport racers vying to win in the various categories in the 6th edition of the Mokokchung AutoX 2022.
Hosted by the Adventure and Motorsport Association Mokokchung (AMAM), this edition also featured the women’s category. A female driver also participated in the rookie category and received much support and cheer from the crowd for her driving skills.
Approximately, 60 competitors competed in four categories –Ladies Class, Rookie Class, SUV Class and Open.
The competitors comprised of teams representing Spearhead Motorsport Initiative, Nagaland Adventure Club, Kohima Motorsports Club, Street Kings, MSAM (Meghalaya), AMAM and P Vishito Motorsports Club.
The INAC East Zone 2022 was also held successfully on 4 November with almost all the participants of the Mokokchung AutoX taking part in the AMAM event.
According to the AMAM officials, it was the initiative of national driver Lanusanen from AMAM that led to the Association hosting INAC in Mokokchung.
