The 6th edition of Peren Winter Carnival Cum Orchid Festival which began on 6th December 2023 at Carnival Village, Tepuiki River site was culminated on 10th December 2023 with Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS as the Special Guest.

According to DIPR, Vineet Kumar, in his brief speech, lauded the organising committee, Progressive Peren and team for organising the events in grand manner and shared his experiences of the festival. DC also spoke on the importance of sustainability and encouraged Progressive Peren to continue to set goals and make it more grandeur in the days to come to turn the potential into reality. Kumar urged the people present to work harder in order to make the town a potential town. As the festive season begins Vineet Kumar called the gathering to share happiness and joy.

On the final day of the 6th Peren Winter Carnival Cum Orchid Festival, various competitions included catapult shooting, pork fat eating, tug of war and volleyball final match.

The culmination program was hosted and chaired by President, PTWCU, Gaigwang Hegeu and Asst. Professor, Peren Govt. College, Paukizone Meriam while President PTYO and Convenor, Organising Committee, Ngautube Chamlak and Secretary of Organising Committee, Lungrahei Herie delivered Keynote address and Vote of thanks respectively.
