Education is the foundation of progress, said Menukholie Kire, Director of Higher Education while addressing the the 7th edition of the EduFair organized by EduCentre Career Counselling (ECCC) held today at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Kohima.
Kire, who graced the event as the Chief Guest encouraged students to choose their universities wisely and advised attendees to make the most of the counselling sessions which offer crucial insights into entrepreneurship and career pathway.

During the event, Lezo Putsure, CEO of Edu Centre noted that the fair has consistently assisted students in securing admissions, scholarships, and overseas education opportunities. Entry is free for all attendees. The event aims to be a valuable resource for students navigating their academic and professional futures.
The EduFair Is a dedicated platform for students to explore higher education options, career advancement, and skill development. This year’s event saw participation from six local colleges including: Model Christian College, Kohima Science College, Sazolie College, Kohima College, Alder College. Additionally, 17 out-of-state universities provided personalized counselling to aspiring students.
A parallel fair is also being held in Dimapur on April 15 at Hotel Acacia with the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dehradun as the title sponsor.
