In light of the same, the Federation unequivocally demanded that the concerned authorities initiate immediate, impartial and stringent action against the perpetrators of this dastardly crime and warned that any failure or delay in delivering justice would be viewed as a grave abdication of responsibility.
Further, the Federation warned that any form of aggression, intimidation or violence against the Naga people would not be tolerated under any circumstances. It said any recurrence of such acts would invite strong and resolute response from the Federation and Naga public at large.
In solidarity with the resolutions adopted by Naga civil bodies, a Candlelight Vigil would be held on April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at NSF Oking, Kohima to honor the departed souls and to collectively reaffirm their commitment to justice and existential right.
The Naga Students’ Federation further reaffirmed commitment to stand at the forefront and said it would spare no expense in defending the collective interest of the Naga homeland.
