My Bharat Youth Registration Advisory Committee meeting held in Wokha

The District Advisory Committee meeting on My Bharat Youth Registration was convened at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Wokha, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner K Mhathung Tsanglao on August 20.

Addressing the gathering, DC Tsanglao emphasized the need for proper coordination among various line departments to ensure the successful implementation of activities under the programme. He highlighted the pivotal role of youth in nation building, describing them as the pillars capable of elevating the country to greater heights. A short PowerPoint presentation was delivered by District Youth Officer Wokha, Pradeep J.

He outlined the institutional hierarchy of Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat), its implementation arms, and the functions of the District Advisory Committee and District Samanvay Committee. He further elaborated on the core roles of My Bharat, including constructive engagement; youth led dissemination, and youth led decision-making.

The presentation also covered features of the My Bharat portal, demonstrating how individuals can register themselves. Opportunities, programmes, and benefits available through the platform were explained, encouraging youth participation. My Bharat, the official youth engagement platform of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aims to build a nationwide community of young change makers. It provides avenues to explore opportunities, participate in events, volunteer, and grow as part of a collective movement.
