The public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) — Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited — have assured consumers that the supply of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remains adequate and uninterrupted across Nagaland.

In a joint statement, the OMCs said the overall fuel supply position in the state is stable and that the entire supply chain, including terminals, primary bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships, is functioning without disruption.

The companies stated that daily dispatches are continuing as scheduled to ensure that all districts in Nagaland remain adequately stocked with essential petroleum products.

The OMCs further informed that they are maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and product replenishment to ensure seamless fuel availability across the state despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.

Appealing to consumers to avoid unnecessary panic buying or stockpiling, the companies urged the public to continue with normal purchasing patterns and rely only on official communications issued by the oil marketing companies regarding fuel supply and availability.
