District Level launching programme of Nasha Mukt bharat Abhiyaan was held on June 15 at the Conference Hall, Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mokokchung.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Atsungba Walling while delivering the welcome address stated that the launching of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan reminds us that combating the issues of substance abuse requires more than just policies, but also requires a collective efforts such as the supply curbing strategy, the demand reduction effort and most importantly the outreach and awareness that begins right here with us. He therefore called upon each and everyone to actively participate for the success of the campaign.

During the programme the participants took Nasha Bharat Abhiyaan pledge reaffirming their dedication and responsibility towards the initiative.  Keynote address was delivered by District Welfare Officer Mokokchung, I Mangliyangba.
