Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Rajya Sabha MP S. Phangnon Konyak have extended warm greetings to the Yimkhiung community on the occasion of Metümnyo, wishing the people peace, happiness and prosperity.

In his message, Rio said, “On the occasion of Metümnyo, I extend my warm greetings to the Yimkhiung community. May this festival of remembrance, gratitude, new beginnings and unity bring peace, happiness and prosperity to every home.”

Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak also conveyed her greetings to the brothers and sisters of the Yimkhiung community, expressing hope that the festival would inspire everyone to continue cherishing their rich cultural traditions while remaining grateful for life’s blessings.

Both leaders wished the community a joyous celebration and prayed that the festival would strengthen unity, harmony and goodwill among the people.
