The Vintage Chord band released their third single Fly High Again on Friday at 60’s Retro Cafe, Wokha. The music video was launched on the band’s official YouTube channel.
Senior Personal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Hachio Patton graced the official release ceremony as the special guest. In his speech, Patton encouraged the members to keep up their spirit for music as music is not only a source of entertainment or hobby but is an industry.
Speaking to Nagaland Tribune, vocalist Arhomo Humtsoe said that Fly High Again, is a song of encouragement, a reminder that whatever challenges you face in life, be positive as someone is always waiting to help you. The band also added that most of their songs are related to social issues.
Influenced by musical greats such as Guns N’ Roses, Skid Row, Metallica and Iron Maiden, Vintage Chord describes its genre of music as soft, hard, rock heavy mostly dwelling with ‘vintage’.

Vocal Chord was formed in early 2002 with four members but they later added another member. The band includes Arhomo Humtsoe on vocal, Nzanthan Humtsoe on guitar, Senkathung Murray on bass/vocal, Chipethung Huntsoe on drums and Phyombemo Tungoe as the bassist.
Vintage Chord band released their first single I am free and Raise last year. They are also hopeful to release an album very soon.
