Miss Hornbill International 2023 initiated by Vogue Entertainment Nagaland (VEN) was launched today at Hotel Japfu, Kohima with Imlibenla Wati Nienu as the Special Guest.
Acknowledging the consistency, determination and hardwork of the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland team, Special Guest, Imlibenla Wati Nienu lauded the team for uplifting the pageant industry to another level by creating an international event and an opportunity for the pageant enthusiast. Reaching out beyond the boarders and bringing the international level beauty pageant in the State.

Operational Head of the Miss Hornbill International 2023, Ezhotou Keyho in her keynote address stated that Miss Hornbill International was officially announced in the year 2021 with its sole aim to promote the culture and traditions of the State and to transmit the growth of ethnicity expanding the pageantry, tourism industry and to take Nagaland beyond.

“Miss Hornbill International will also focus on pageantry, tourism promotion of local artisans as well as stakeholders in beauty pageant by creating a global liaison,” said Keyho.
She further informed that the crown of the maiden Miss Hornbill International 2023 will be a “combination of 16 districts stature as well as the sign of hornbill bird which is one of the substantial highlights of the Naga events.”

Highlighting the achievements and success of the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland, Keyho said, the team over the years has been producing young talented Youths especially in the field of fashions and pageant industry to the state, regional and national level. Briefing about the “Miss Phek Foundation” which is one of the project initiated by the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland, Keyho said, “The very sole purpose of this project is to look after a girl child by supporting the expenses of the girl child and underprivileged children of Phek district.”

Expressing gratitude to the team, stakeholders and supporters, Vogue Entertainment Director, Dode Nakro said, “This platform is not created only for the Nagas or Northeast but it is being created globally so that we can promote our culture and traditions through this pageant. Through this pageant, I believe we will be able to carry forward our stand to greater heights.”
The event was hosted by Kuno Resüh, team leader of Vogue Entertainment and invocation was pronounced by Chiewotso Koza, Producing Manager of VEN. Event Campaign Partner Victor Rutsa, ANTA also delivered a short speech.
