The Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR) organized a seminar with the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047” at the college. The initiative, “Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth,” was recently introduced by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
At the seminar, Director-cum-Dean Professor Dr. Soumya Chakraborty encouraged students to dream, highlighting the potential for great accomplishments when one dreams. She emphasized the significance of dreaming as a driving force for individuals to pursue their aspirations. Additionally, she underscored the importance of striving for excellence and urged students to aim higher than merely settling for average performance.
Dr. Chakraborty advised students to actively engage in learning, observe their surroundings, and emphasized the concept of “seeing is believing.” “As students, you possess the potential to be innovators and are crucial to India’s future,” said the Director urging the students not to confine themselves to Nagaland but encouraged them to broaden their horizons and reach new heights.
