The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has issued an addendum to the advertisement for Combined Technical Services Examination 2024 issued on 28th March 2024 where it added 19 posts of Agri Inspector, Fishery Inspector & Pharmacist.
Item No.47: (a) 2 (two) posts of Agriculture Officer (Class-II Gazetted) under Agriculture Department (1 post reserved for B.T. Yimchunger (Yimkhiung/Tikhir), 1 post Unreserved)
(b) 9 (nine) posts of Agriculture Inspector (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Agriculture Department (6 posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland, 1 post each reserved for B.T. Chang, Chakhesang, Khiamniungan)
Item No.48: 7 (seven) posts of Fishery Inspector (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Department (5 posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland, 1 post each reserved for B.T. Pochury, Phom)
Item No.49: 1 (one) post of Pharmacist Grade II (District) (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Directorate of Prisons (Reserved for B.T. Konyak)
NPSC informed that candidates who have already applied for the post of Agri. Inspector, Fishery Inspector & Pharmacist may opt for Item No.47b, 48 and 49 by updating their post preference through NPSC portal https//npsc.nagaland.gov.in on or before 12:00 Noon of 18th May 2024.
OTR (One Time Registration) will be active from 12:00 noon of 15th May 2024 till 12:00 noon of 17th May 2024, it said.
The Commission had earlier on 28th March advertised 183 vacancies but withdrew the post of SDO (Agri/Civil Engg.) under Water Resources Department (Reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants) on 2nd May 2024 and changed the Grade of the two posts of Food Safety Officer (Grade-I) to Food Safety Officer (Class –II Gazetted) vide the Department’s letter dated 16th April 2024.
