The training of counting officials was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on May 28, informed DIPR.
The Micro Observers should be aware of Election Commission of India’s (ECI) guidelines and to be more cautious in executing the duties and requested the officials to check the machines thoroughly and make sure that they are intact, said the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant during the training.

Ramnikant asked the officials to work as a team and function as one unit during the counting process. He also urged officials to highlight any problem that may arise during counting process to the concerned authority for early redressal.
Deputy Director, Labour Commissioner and District Level Master Trainer, Chubayanger imparted training to the counting officials for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024.
