No Parking Zone declared ahead of KMC Elections

The Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant has issued an order stating that in view of the ULB elections to Kohima Municipal Council scheduled to be held on June 26, the stretch from Razhü Point Junction to Deputy Commissioner’s Office (Via Old NST/New NST/Y-Junction) has been declared as No Parking Zone on June 25 and 26.

Further, during the Dispatch and Receipt of election Polling Parties on the above mentioned dates, Traffic Restrictions will be imposed as per requirement for which the General Public have been requested to bear the inconvenience and extend cooperation.

The defaulting vehicles will be towed at the expense of the vehicle owners and also liable to be penalized under section 179 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
