The Tuensang Voice has launched a donation drive to support the families affected by the Tuensang Landslide from August 6 – 15 . In response to the disaster, the Tuensang District Disaster Management Authority has established a relief camp at the C/Khel Local Ground in Tuensang Village, providing aid to 768 individuals from the Phinjang and NST sectors.
Till date, more than 60 people have already sought refuge at the camp, with more expected to arrive in the coming days.
“We would like to request the members of the group and all kind individuals and groups to please contribute in cash or in kind. For those contributing in kind, the items can include rice, dal, milk powder , tea leaves and other non- perishable food items,” appealed the Tuensang Voice.
