Nagaland University, Lumami, launched a signature campaign in Hindi today, organized under the banner of “Hindi Fortnight – 2024.” The event was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, who led the campaign by signing and inaugurating the occasion.
The signature campaign was initiated to promote the use of Hindi, in line with the nationwide celebrations of Hindi Fortnight. Registrar Dr. Abemo, Controller of Examinations Yanrenthung Ezung, along with the Dean of Science and Social Science, faculty members, officers, staff, and students actively participated in the event by signing the campaign sheet, reflecting their support for the initiative.
The event highlighted the importance of Hindi as a unifying language and aimed to foster greater appreciation for its role in national communication and culture. The collective participation of all stakeholders at the university demonstrated a unified commitment to the promotion of Hindi language and literature.
