The 25th edition of Hornbill Music Festival 2024 has added a special feature, namely the ‘JBL Busking Zone’ which will showcase singers from all the 17 districts of Nagaland from December 2 to 9 at JBL Arena, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The singers will includeincludees; Shelao Kheang Konyak (Mon), Lumzila Sangtam (Kiphire), Helole Jishing (Tseminyu), Ashi and Ayin (A Duo Folk Fusion Artiste) (Shamator), Kukhruno Khamo (Phek), Longham Phom (Longleng), Moamernla Jamir (Mokokchung), Yongkongkelep Chang (Tuensang), Nchumbemo Yanthan (Wokha), Atusa Katiry (Meluri), Lengnio C (Noklak), Neikethonuo Secii (Chumoukedima), Micro Ensemble (Dimapur), Mughasheli Y Yeputhomi (Zunheboto), Keyichitube Nza (Peren), Jamir Sang (Kohima) and Esther S Jans (Niuland).

Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland through X described ‘JBL Busking Zone’ as, “Fantastic opportunities of International platforms for our own Naga artists in our own backyard.”
TaFMA chairman Theja Meru also shared on his social media handles, saying “OHANA – Ohana in Hawaiian means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.
