The National Strongman Championship 2025 organised by the Indian Strongman Sports Federation witnessed an outstanding performance by athletes from Nagaland under the aegis of the Nagaland Strongman and Fitness Association (NSFA). The team was coached by Keduovilie Zumu, President NSFA and four athletes participated in the prestigious event and brought home and impressive tally of four gold medals, informed a press release.

The athletes has been qualified for International Strongman Championship to be held in Egypt and Germany.

The gold medalists from Nagaland are:

• Kevidi Linyü —Gold in 120kg and also accorded with best zercher by setting a new national record in zercher lift
• Vizovolie Rame —Gold in 90kg category
• Zhapao Movi —Gold in 80kg and also accorded with Best log press
• Nganshung M Phom — 70kg Gold and also accorded best deadlift.

The Team Nagaland reportedly reached back Nagaland this evening. According to the press release, the NSFA conveyed its gratitude to all the well wishers for their support in several forms.
