The Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union (KCSU) on Tuesday organized the 2nd Edition of Annual Sports Meet 2025 at D-Khel Ground, Kohima.

MLA of the 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency (AC), Dr Tsielhoutuo Rhutso graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker and shared reflections on his childhood life and highlighted the importance of dignity of labor in achieving success.

He encouraged the students to prioritize education above all else.

Meanwhile, Guest of Honour, Dode Nakro emphasized the need for good sportsmanship and teamwork, while also pointing out that trust- building and resilience are key factors in achieving goals.

Earlier, welcome address and acknowledgement was presided by Kuwe Mekru, President of KCSU.

The programme was led by Vezito Tetseo and invocation was done by Wewu-ü Kapfo Woman Pastor, KCBCK.

A folk tune was performed by the Chakhesang Students’ Union, Kohima College.

An oath-taking ceremony was led by Virelu Pohena, Games & Sports Secretary, KCSU the Games & Sports Secretary of KCSU. The Sports event begins with a “Kick Off” by the guest speaker.
