The Administrator & Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Mokokchung Municipal Council, Chumlamo Humtsoe has notified that a ‘Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll’ for Mokokchung Municipal Council will be taken up with reference to 1st January 2024 as the qualifying date.

Following is the schedule set by the State Election Commission:

Further, the Administrator & ERO, Mokokchung Municipal Council informed that pursuant upon the state election commission notification dated 4th March 2024, the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung shall be the appellate authority for disposing of appeals during the conduct of the special summary revision of the electoral role for Mokokchung Municipal Council.

No enumerators / supervisors /sector magistrates etc shall be appointed for the conduct of the special summary revision. Therefore, concerned individual claimant/objector are hereby informed to apply directly to the office of the undersigned at Sadar branch, 2nd floor office of the Deputy Commissioner for inclusion/ deletion etc, the notification stated.
