C L John, Advisor Land Resource, inaugurated the newly recognised Chenloisho Longkhao village on 13 December. During the inauguration, the advisor took a salute from the Village Guard and unveiled the Monolith.
He thanked the Nagaland Government and the Chief Minister for achieving the long-awaited dream of the people of Chenloisho Longkhao village. He said the day was a historical day for Chenloisho Longkhao village.
John urged the citizens of the newly recognised village to live in peace and to respect their neighbouring village and their parenting village. He said people’s contribution and cooperation are necessary for village growth and development rather than depending only on the Government departments.
He also urged youngsters to avoid those substances which are harmful to society. He encouraged them to instead cultivate hard work, sincerity and honesty in society.
Advisor John also expressed his wishes for more understanding and blessing in the new village.
Short speeches were delivered by Yamao on behalf of RD Mon, T Wangmao Angh Chenloisho, Yemwang Angh Chenmoho and Yayem, president KU Unit Chen.
The programme was chaired by S Wenkang while the welcome address was delivered by the chairman of Chenloisho Village Council. Words of appreciation were given by Popa GB.
The dedication of the Monolith was pronounced by Along Pangloi. A cultural dance was presented by Wangti Village Council (men) and Chenloisho Wangto (women).
On the same day, the advisor of land resource also inaugurated the newly upgraded Primary Health Centre Chenloisho and newly created Health Sub-Centre Chenloisho in Wangto village.

“Health is wealth,” he commented and called upon the villagers, civil societies, church members and citizens to cooperate with the staff to work efficiently for the community.
Advisor John also said the church and the health centre are connected, as the church is a spiritual healing centre and the health centre a physical healing centre. He also urged the staff to work honestly as a challenge and set a good footprint in such a far and remote place.
Dr Neiphruzo, SMO Aboi, spoke on behalf of the Health and Family Welfare department. He said community participants are very important in the smooth functioning of work and encouraged the citizens to participate.
P Teitong, pastor of CLBC, dedicated the Monolith. The welcome speech was delivered by Nokkhah, Chairman Village Council, Chenloisho village.
