Kohima: Students are facing untold hardship due to delay in resolving issue, says ANCSU

The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has submitted a memorandum to the Commissioner & Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, Government of Nagaland appealing for the Department to provide buses to Government colleges in the state including Dimapur Government College and Sao Chang College, Tuensang.

The Union said that it was “disheartening to witness the negligence of the department and state government, failing to address the urgency of this matter the priority it deserves for which the students are facing untold hardship.”

In the memorandum, ANCSU appealed the Commissioner and Secretary to resolve the issue without delay lest and cautioned that failing to do so may “invite retaliation and confrontation from the college students.”

“Further, we place our confidence that the state government and department concerned would pay ears to the genuine demand of the students’ community and will not go against its commitment for the educational welfare of the students across Nagaland,” ANCSU stated.
