The Associates for Performing Arts and Theatricals (APAT) will be celebrating its 25th Silver Jubilee on May 25 at Aongza Ki under the theme “Towards a Transformative Art”.
APAT was established on May 25 in the year 2000 with the motto “Fraternity and Progress through Virtuosity” with fourteen (14) members, informed a press release by APAT. It is registered under the Home Deptt. Govt. of Nagaland, Registration of Society Act, 1860 and is affiliated to Nehru Yuva Kendra.

“APAT strives to explore and promote artistic talents and theatrical productions within the state by offering suitable platforms. Its goals include nurturing artistic and dramatic abilities, serving as a forum for social awareness through artistic expression, fostering a sense of brotherhood among the community through performances and entertainment events, inspiring a passion for drama among the public, working towards the upliftment of the underprivileged and marginalized groups, and supporting the development and encouragement of young talents,” stated the APAT.
