Awareness & Benefit Saturation Camp held across districts

Tuensang District Dharti Aaba Abhiyan- Awareness and Saturation camp was held at Lirise Village under Longkhim Block, Tuensang on June 26, under the initiative of EAC Longkhim, Chingmei along with representatives from various line departments, banks and the post office.

The campaign covered 4 villages in cluster namely Lirise, Chimonger, Chungtor and Anangba.

On June 25, Dharti Aaba Abhiyan- Awareness and Saturation Camp was held at Holongba village under Longkhim Block under the initiative of EAC Tuensang, Zujanbeni N Ngullie, and EAC (P), Sekhozo Vero, along with representatives from various line departments, banks and post office.

The campaign covered 3 villages in cluster namely Holongba, Sangsomong and Phir Ahi.

As part of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA), a block-level Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp was held at the Block Development Office, Tuli sub-division, Mokokchung, on June 26. The camp catered to beneficiaries from the villages of Merangkong, Asangma, and Aopenzu.

The DA-JGUA initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to improve rural living conditions through the saturation of flagship welfare schemes and direct engagement between implementing departments and the public. The camp served as a platform for villagers to access various government services and schemes under one roof.

Services provided included Aadhaar registration, old age, widow, and divyang pension schemes, the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI), health screening and consultation under the health camp and Ayushman Bharat, as well as schemes such as PM-KISAN, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin), Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), RDSS & VEMP, National Food Security Act (NFSA) ration card services, PMSBY, PMJJBY, Mudra Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, MGNREGA, and CMLIS, among others.

The camp was officially launched by Nukshimatong (NCS), SDO (Civil) and Border Magistrate, Tuli. Officials from various departments were present, including the Departments of Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies, the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Social Welfare, Rural Development, and Land Resources.

PFUTSEROMI VILLAGE:

The Programme on National Awareness & Benefit Saturation Camp of Dhan Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan was held at the Council Hall of Pfutseromi village, Phek on June 25 led by EAC, Khezhakeno, H. Aloto Shohe.

Aloto Sshohe, in his keynote address, called upon the participants from various villages to co-operate and avail various Government sponsored schemes today which was put  at their doorstep.

Various activities were initiated by separtments namely Rural Development, Agriculture, District Hub for Entrepreneur of Women, Phek, Food & Civil Supplies, Health & Family Welfare Department, and also including the bank sector

The welcome address was presented by VCC Pfutsero Village, Lhiwepelo Ritse, and President KBCA, Whetso Mero, invoked God’s blessings. The vote of thanks was presented by Vibi Mero, and Pastor Pfutseromi Village Baptist Church, Sehuto Mero gave the benediction. During the programme, various departments highlighted their departmental activities.

WATIYIM VILLAGE,  MANGKOLEMBA

An Awareness and Service Delivery Camp was successfully conducted on June 26 at the Watiyim Village Council Hall under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Yojana (DAJGUA).

The event saw the active involvement of seven government departments from Mangkolemba sub-division, who extended a range of public services. These included enrolment for ration cards, Aadhaar, and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), job card registration under MGNREGA, verification of PM KISAN beneficiaries, registration under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), and UDHYAM portal registration for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Residents from Watiyim, Chungtiayimsen, Longpayimsen, and Moayimti villages participated in large numbers, taking advantage of the services provided during the outreach initiative.

AGHUNATO:

As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign, one-day Awareness-cum-Facilitation camp was conducted on June 26 at the Office of the ADC’s Aghunato, Zunheboto. A short programme was held at the Dobashi’s Court which was attended by Government officials, Village Council members and beneficiaries from fifteen villages under Tokiye Block, Aghunato Sub-Division.

The DAJGUA is a nationwide campaign initiated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, which envisions comprehensive development of tribal areas and communities by addressing critical gaps in infrastructure, healthcare, education and livelihoods.
