Beley Konyak was crowned Miss Mon 2023 on Monday evening at the ongoing Aoleang Festival cum 3rd Mon International Trade Fair & Expo 2023 being held at Local Ground, Mon.

The beauty pageant themed “Celebrating Women Beyond Beautiful” was organised by Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK). The special guest of the event was Birila Tokiu, who is an ex-president of Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation, MD of Shekinah Christian Foundation and a Social Worker.

Beley also won a subtitle of Miss Photogenic in the contest where 21 girls participated.

Polem Phangmei, who also won Miss Perfect 10, was adjudged the first runner-up, while Leom was the second Runner up. The subtitle of Miss Congeniality was given to Lejoi.

The Miss Mon 2023 title winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while the first and second runner received cash prizes of Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively with gift hampers worth Rs. 7,000. Subtitle winners also received cash and gift hampers worth Rs. 8000.

Miss Mon 2023 was hosted by Luaying Konyak and Teihom Mercy.
