Bless Kohima Northeast Prayer Drive held across city

A day-long “Bless Kohima Northeast: India Prayer Drive” was held on Saturday across various locations in Kohima, led by Rev Dr Vizotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of Kohima Bible College and Founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima and Koinonia Prayer Centre, Tsiesema Basa.

He was joined by Rev Luoliehu Yimsung (Yim), a missionary from Nagaland serving in Singapore, Australia and Oceania nations, along with participants from Kohima Bible College (KBC), Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) and Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC).

According to an update from the organisers, prayer services were conducted at multiple locations across the state capital. These included Jakhama Ground; Kohima Peace Memorial Park (opposite the Cultural Hall); Kohima Science College, Jotsoma; Kohima Orphanage Home and D Khel Ground, Seikhazou, before culminating at Koinonia Prayer Centre.

The prayer drive focused on seeking peace, forgiveness, reconciliation and unity, while also invoking blessings over Kohima for deliverance, prosperity and development.

Organisers stated that prayers were specifically conducted at key “gateways” of the state capital, describing them as strategic points.

It added that during the programme, participants offered prayers and made prophetic declarations, invoking God’s power over evil and seeking protection against forces associated with death, while proclaiming blessings of life, peace, prosperity and growth.

A total of 89 participants from Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC) and Kohima Bible College (KBC) took part in the initiative, it added.
