A book titled A Year of Inspiration written by Nyambemo Lotha Naga and published by Heritage Publishing House was officially launched by Minister for Higher & Technical Education and Tribal affairs Temjen Imna Along today here at D’Cafe, Kohima.

A Year of Inspiration is a collection of 365 quotes encompassing various aspects of life that have been composed and documented over nine years by the author, mostly based on personal experiences.

It was written on the principle that most people either do not get or make the time to consume long write-ups, but any literate individual can make some time to read a quote which contains fewer words with much meaning and morale. Hence, brevity is the central theme of the entire book.

Nyambemo Lotha Naga, the author, is a postgraduate in History from NEHU, Shillong and is a native of Shaki village under Wokha district, Nagaland. He says he started writing as a hobby since his Shillong days and it was in the year 2019 when he met with a fatal car accident and God gave him a second chance to live.

“This is, but a frail attempt of a promise to keep a tangible testament for His saving grace,” says Lotha and hopes that the readers will find inspiration through his book.

Lotha, a former student leader, is now an educator, an entrepreneur of little renown, and the founder of a Govt. Registered CSO called Change Initiative based in Wuzhuro town under Wokha district.
