CNCCI says indefinite shutter down will continue, shops will open for 6 hours on 29th April (Monday)

Kohima: Window will allow citizens to be prepared for prolong shutter down

A day after the sudden call for indefinite shutter down across Nagaland, the Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has informed that the indefinite shutter down will continue as there has been “no satisfactory response” from the Nagaland Government.

However, it also announced that shops will be opened on 29th April 2024 (Monday) in all districts for six hours from 12 noon to 6:00 pm “to allow window period for citizens to stock the essential as many district went for lighting shutter down without pre informing the public.”

This window will allow citizens to be prepared for prolong shutter down till our demands are met, CNCCI stated.
