The 58 A/C Shamator-Chessore Congress unit held a new members induction programme along with its monthly meeting on July 24 at Shamator district.

During the programme, 13 members from Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), led by M Kejingkhum, Vice President of LJP, officially joined the Indian National Congress.

They were welcomed by Chotsase Sangtam, President of District Congress Committee (DCC) Tuensang, and W Akum, Vice President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) and a PCC member.

DCC President, Chotsase Sangtam assured the new members that the party would work together with them for a stronger and better future.

The 13 new members are: M Kejingkhum – Vice President, 58 A/C (LJP); Yanluba – Advisor & Chief Agent, 58 A/C (LJP); Mahkila – Vice President, Mahila, 58 A/C (LJP); T Mukam – Youth President, 58 A/C (LJP); Neoji – President, Kissan Morcha, 58 A/C (LJP); Chimthong – Youth Vice President, 58 A/C (LJP); R Throngshi – Former Candidate, Active Worker, 58 A/C (NDPP); Kiukhum – Former Area Member, 58 A/C (LJP); Kumkiu – Unit Chairman, Losolo Village Unit, 58 A/C (LJP); Kheanjila – Former Member, 58 A/C (NDPP); Yimtsu – Former Member, 58 A/C (LJP); T Yankila – Former Mahila Member, 58 A/C (LJP); and P Akiula – Former Mahila Member, 58 A/C (LJP).
