Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has issued a travel advisory informing all the concerned that, in view of the landslides triggered by heavy rainfall National Highway -202 at Chainage 41.00 KM near New Tsaru Village has been several damaged, rendering the said stretch unsafe and vulnerable to heavy vehicles movement.
In view of the prevailing condition, movement of all Heavy vehicles and loaded commercial vehicles is restricted with immediate effect. Only Light Motor Vehicle shall be permitted to pass through the effected stretch with caution. In view of the above, vehicles and commuters seeking alternate connectivity are advised to take the following routes:
- Thonger-Alisopur-Longmisa- Mokokchung Road
- Yangli-Yehemi Road
- Tuensang -Longleng Road.
