A felicitation program of HSLC and HSSLC 2024-2025 achievers for the children of Police personnel under DEF Mokokchung was held at SP office Mokokchung on May 17.

Altogether, 32 students of HSLC and HSSLC were felicitated, among them two students namely Pewangben Meriam, daughter of ASI Kewingaila Zeliang and Suponglemla Longkumer, daughter of ABC Sentiakum Longkumer secured the Top 16 and 17 positions in the HSLC exam, informed a press release by PRO Mokokchung Police.

Speaking at the programme, Vesupra Kezo, NPS Senior Superintendent of Police Mokokchung congratulated the students for their hard-earned success and bringing laurel to the unit. He encouraged the students to work hard and not be discouraged because there is a lot of employment opportunity in Nagaland.

Drawing from his personal experiences and disciplined practice, he offered valuable advice to the students and encouraged them to choose the right career and focus from the start as the saying goes “Well began is half done”.  He also advised the parents to know their children’s potential and thanked them for their unwavering support and encouraging their children.

The programme was chaired by Intienla while prayer for the successfal students was pronounced by I. Temjen, Pastor Police Baptist Church, Mokokchung.
