Phom encouraged the students to connect with families, friends, teachers and seek help from professional counsellor or psychiatrist during stressful times rather than to keep to oneself. He underscored that students should maintain time management by focusing on one thing at a time and establish their goals and priorities which will help the students to reduce work load and stress.

Dr. Senilo Magh, Psychiatrist, DH Tuensang, talked about how mental health will be after 5 to 10 years later and mentioned on the objective of training by forming a mental club. He states, “Life is not easy; every day is a new day with new challenges and mental health often takes a back seat with increasing lifestyles changes in these generations.” However, he underscored the importance of mental health stating that, “taking care of one’s mental health is essential, as it matters the most.”

Through the club, Dr Senilo urged the students to raise awareness on the importance of mental health and foster an environment where the mental well being of every individual is valued and respected.
