DNSU, AKM extend Teachers’ Day greetings, laud teachers’ role in shaping future generations

The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) have extended warm greetings and appreciation to teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2026, recognising their dedication, guidance and contribution to shaping young minds and society.

In its message, the DNSU expressed sincere gratitude to teachers for their patience, dedication, guidance and unconditional support, saying a teacher’s influence extends far beyond the classroom.

The union said teachers inspire students to dream, encourage them during moments of self-doubt and guide them towards becoming responsible individuals. It also acknowledged the lasting impact of the lessons, values and kindness imparted by teachers.

The DNSU described teaching as a noble profession and said educators remain a source of knowledge, inspiration and encouragement for generations of students.

Meanwhile, the Office of the AKM extended heartfelt greetings and appreciation to teachers, describing them as “guiding lights” who shape young minds, inspire dreams, nurture character and empower the next generation to meet future challenges.

The AKM highlighted the dedication, patience, wisdom and selfless service of teachers, saying their contribution has made an immeasurable difference in the lives of countless students.

It also honoured teachers for instilling values such as discipline, compassion and integrity, besides their contribution to education. The organisation commended their continued commitment to the growth and development of students.

Both student organisations wished teachers a happy and blessed Teachers’ Day and expressed the hope that educators would continue to inspire, educate and transform lives with the same passion and dedication.
